San Manuel Chili Cook-Off
May 6, 2023 Noon - 5pm
The 2nd annual chili & music festival features three live bands along with food stands, beer & wine, vendors, crafts, a pie eating contest, raffles and chili tasting. Free gate admission & parking. Tickets will be sold for chili taste-testing and voting. Chili cook-off t-shirts will also be for sale. Be a cook and get sign-up info here.
Held at San Manuel Airport, 86181 E Avenida de Aviacion, San Manuel, Arizona about an hour drive NE of Tucson.
Festival Schedule
May 6th, 2023
12pm – The festivities begin with live music, food vendors, beverages, arts, crafts, t-shirts, raffles and more. Free gate admission & parking.
12pm – TWOFEW a piano-rock band from Phoenix will play.
12pm-5pm – Draft Horse will be selling alcohol (beer & wine). All alcohol needs to stay onsite.
1pm-3pm – Chili tasting. Coupons will be sold for $10 per person for chili taste-testing and to vote for a ‘peoples choice’.
1:30pm – Root 77 is a local group and will play traditional & modern country.
2pm – Pie eating contest.
3pm – Dani Hagan performs. Based out of Los Angeles, she has performed at some of LA’s most iconic venues with soulful rock.
4:30pm – Chili Cook-Off winners are announced. There will be four trophy awards–one winner in each chili category and one peoples choice.
5pm – The fair ends.
